Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain of the US women's Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in 2016. The Final Five. In 2012 her year, she received gold in the team competitions and also the floor workouts. On the balance beam Raisman received a bronze. In 2012 she was the first American athlete to win the highest number of medals at the Olympics. At the 2016 Olympics she won a gold medal in the team event which earned her along with teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of being the first Americans to earn back-to-back gold medals for the team. Additionally, she won silver in the individual all around event and floor exercises. After the second Olympics, she stopped for three years gymnastics. Gold medal winner American team also took home 2 World Championships. When she was just 2, she began to learn gymnastics. Her favorite sport is floor exercise. Aly is a supporter and member of Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation to honor her mother, who passed away from cancer. She hopes to become a fashion designer and expand her line of leotards and socks in the near future. Fierce is a novel she will release later this year.
